Yes, we're trying to make this site semi-advanced so try to keep your posts at a minimum of about 200-300 words. Not too much, just enough to make a small paragraph. We'd like it if you don't like to count your words make it 8-9 sentences then. Whatever suits you best. If you don't meet this, the next person is not permitted to post until this is met.
Next, we'd like that you keep to one account and one account ONLY. You may gasp at this but, yes, you are allowed to have as many characters as you want on that one account. I repeat AS MANY AS YOU WANT [that is as long as you keep them all active]. We won't appreciate it if you eleven cats and post with one certain one for two months and don't pay any mind to the other. [the codeword for creation is : rainbow ponies] It's neglecting the others ;]
No powerplaying, no godmoding. [powerplaying: playing another's character. godmoding: giving your cat insane powers and having them do things when it's past there ability] I understand 'but these cats DO have powers!' Yes, your right. They do. But I want you to stick with the powers YOU have chosen for the cats and that the STAFF APPROVE them to have. You can't have a cat that can... I don't know... make mist and then suddenly have him calling a tidal wave. That's not how it works, sorry. Stick with the powers you have.

So guys! Here is a further explanation of what sort of things we're targetting with powerplaying and godmoding. Powerplaying should be obvious- 'controlling another person's character?' you may think. 'I never do that!' Well, knock knock! Powerplaying can be minor and passive. Such as you saying your cat heard another cat break a stick while sneaking up, while in their post, that other cat might not have stepped on a stick!
Godmoding is what irks everyone most of all. This is having insanely strong characters that dodge every hit and always hits everyone. You must stick to the level of power specified to your cat's ability in the power list- and even then, you can't go wild with it. Power takes up energy, just like walking, running, eating, ect. and if you use it to much, it can kill your cat depending on the level of the power. Another part of godmoding is auto-hitting, which is specifically banned. Auto-hitting is attacking another character without giving the target time to react. For example- 'Twisterstar lunged at Capestar, his claws sinking into her shoulder as he dived over her.' That is a no-no, because Capestar was not allowed a moment to avoid being attacked, or at least move to make the damage lesser. This is a correct version of that attack- 'Twisterstar lunged at Capestar, slashing his claws in an attempt to dig them into shoulder.'

Feel free to make a scene however dramatic you want, but make sure the others are willing to go along with it. Please don't have a romance scene and then throw your cat over the edge of a cliff. That's just not fitting... it's a little TOO dramatic in my opinion, that is unless it was discussed previously.
No sex scenes or sex stuff of any kind. Ech. No, please keep your hormonal thoughts to yourself. We'd like that if your characters come to that stage, please use a scene skip or black out. We don't need the whole thing played out, that's just not right for some eyes and minds on this site. Thank you, we really appreciate that your keeping this site clean. [hint hint]
Once you believe your female is ready to have kits check with a staff member and the she-cats mate then go and post the kits that need adopting on the board for kits. This needs to happen BEFORE the kits are born and all kits need to be taken by the time the kits are born. There is to be no giving the kits to a character. There need to be auditions of some sort.
Please keep to the season and season and setting. Don't be in an open field in the middle of winter and say 'in the hot sun, the shade of the large trees felt nice'. That doesn't quite fit, huh? Sorry. Not like that. Make sure it's more like 'the crispy ice-covered grass under paw was only one hint of the cool weather on this gray winter day'. We'd like to stay more towards reality in seasons and location.
Okay, you must understand that we only want the english language spoken by these cats. It's what the majority of us can understand and we only want ONE language for there seems to be no way a cat can come from spain to this world. There are no twolegs so there is no way for a cat to travel that far. English. Only.
No twolegs - which means no kittypets. Sorry guys but I doubt twolegs would live that clueless in a world of magical cats. You may speak of the remains of the twolegs and of their existence IN THE PAST but no speaking of once seeing them unless it's part of a plot. Other than that as far as the cats know... they. are. dead.
All in character posts need to be in third person. It's easier to understand that way. If they are not in third person we ask that you change it before anyone else replies. This means ALL in character posts. All. all... no questions asked, please.
