[/center][/size]out of character rules [OOC]
We'll start with the basics. We'd like if all members [and guests] respect the staff and listen to what they have to say. Same goes for members, members deserve respect, too. What they staff members have to say shall be followed and I don't want anybody disobeying or arguing with them.
Next, there will be no discrimination whether it be by race, religion, culture, or sex. Along those lines, there will be no trying to convert someone or speak about their religion. However announcement of holidays is allowed. No one is to put down another religion, though.
Please try to keep the cussing and cursing down. I understand a few words here and there in character, and I'll allow that. I just don't want ANYONE to cuss at another individual unless it's in character. Even then, I don't want you to spout words like crazy. Think about what you say even then.
We ask that no one give out personal info, especially very vital bits like address, state, full name, ect. Trust me, that's not one of the smartest things to do so for your own safety, we're restricting that. ANNDDD... anyone who ASKS for this information or who uses ANY probing questions will be in deep trouble. It makes you sound like a stalker and we don't like stalkers here.
No fighting. Yes, thats a big no, no. We don't like breaking things up and we'd like to keep this place as friendly as possible. Especially no minor bickering that's just annoying. If you feel the need to fight take it to PMs because we don't want to hear it or have to deal with it, but don't think we won't interfere. If it gets out of hand we will jump in.
No sexual content. It's just not fitting, trust me. We don't like to hear those type of things and they just aren't whats needed in some innocent heads on this site. Don't even go into the TMI range of things. Thats a hint that you've gone a little far and it's time to stop. Make sure theres a strict no crossing line between small nasty things such as a kiss [which we still don't really need descriptives on] and ... that stuff.
No use of copywrited work unless it's under a Creative Commons License that allows you to use it. However, if it asks you to credit that person, please do so. In fact, try your hardest on crediting every work you do, but even I slip on that a lot so I understand. Just understand that we don't want to take the blame when you use copywrited things. That's just not right and it's horrible to rip somebody's thing.
Please try not to use chatspeak often. I understand the occasional brb in the c-box and stuff but it's annoying when your having a conversation in ooc to see stuff like ur and the use of 2 instead of to or too. Please write it out, it doesn't take that much energy.
No big images!! Please don't make a 1000x1000 picture in your signature. I'll let you chop it down and make a clickable but please don't put the whole image in your signature if it stretches the board, it's un-allowed. I'd like to keep it about 200x500 at biggest. Remember, tough, clickables and links to pictures ARE allowed.
Heres our little deal. If a rule is broken I'll just give you a small warning at first. That's easy enough, right? Maybe that'll get the point across. If not and you happen to break another rule, depending on how bad it is I'll either give you another stricter warning or I'll temporary ban you. If I catch you breaking yet another rule once that's over I'll give you the chance to plead your case or you out of here... permanently. I'm sorry but you had your chance [really]. If your wondering how I'll just say I know a way so you better watch out. If your good and follow these rules, thank you and trust that good things will come your way.
