Enter the suburbs, estates, boulevards and streets of France,
but there is no sign of the strangeness here,
lurking in the shadows.
For countless years cats have hunted birds,
and many a time have watched with frustration
and nothing but feathers caught in their claws,
as their prey soars away from them.
Birds aren't the only thing to soar now.
Never is an awfully long time,
but the clocks are ticking
and uncontrollable power is splattering bloodlust on the walls
and haunting the alleyways, out of sight from the humans.
This is a feral disaster.
Tick tock tick tock...
